Effective date: May 7, 2026
Human+ (“Human+,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website turnhumanplus.com and related telehealth services that connect patients with independent, licensed medical providers and partner state-licensed pharmacies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. By using our services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you create an account, complete an intake, or contact us, you may provide your name, date of birth, email address, phone number, mailing address, payment information, government identification (when required for prescription verification), photos you choose to upload, medical history, current medications and allergies, height and weight, symptoms, and other health information needed for a provider to evaluate you.
Information collected automatically. When you use our website or apps, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, pages visited, links clicked, and timestamps. We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for authentication, security, analytics, and (where you have not opted out) advertising measurement.
Information from third parties. We may receive information from independent providers, pharmacies, laboratories, payment processors, identity-verification vendors, advertising partners, and analytics providers, where they assist in delivering or improving the services.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Human+ services, including your intake, prescription, fulfillment, and ongoing care.
- To facilitate communication between you and your independent medical provider and partner pharmacy.
- To verify your identity and protect the security of your account.
- To process payments, subscriptions, refunds, and shipping.
- To send you transactional and care-related messages, refill reminders, and customer-support replies.
- To send marketing communications you have agreed to receive (you can opt out at any time using the link in those messages).
- To analyze how the services are used and develop new features.
- To comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our terms.
3. Protected health information (HIPAA)
When you receive medical services through Human+, the medical information you share with your independent provider, and the information generated about your treatment, is “Protected Health Information” (PHI). PHI is governed by the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules and the Notice of Privacy Practices that your provider or partner pharmacy makes available to you. Human+ acts as a business associate to the providers and pharmacies that hold the patient relationship and processes PHI only as permitted by HIPAA and the relevant business-associate agreements.
4. How we share information
- Independent medical providers who review your intake and issue prescriptions when clinically appropriate.
- Partner state-licensed pharmacies that prepare and ship prescribed medication, including, where applicable, compounded GLP-1 medications.
- Service providers that perform services on our behalf, including hosting, payment processing, customer support, shipping, identity verification, fraud prevention, email delivery, and analytics. These providers are contractually bound to use information only as we direct.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, court order, or valid government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Human+, our patients, or others.
- Business transfers. If Human+ is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
- With your consent. Any other sharing not described in this Policy will require your consent.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising partners may consider certain cookie-based sharing as a “sale” or “sharing” under California law; see Section 9 for how to opt out.
5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use first-party and third-party cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure how the site is used, and (where you have not opted out) measure advertising performance. You can manage cookies through your browser settings or our cookie banner where available. Disabling certain cookies may prevent parts of the site from working correctly.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the services, maintain medical records as required by applicable law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Medical records held by independent providers and partner pharmacies are retained according to the record-retention requirements of the state in which the provider is licensed.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and routine security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices

9. State-specific privacy rights

When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (for example, by email or a notice in your patient portal).
